You mean other poeple make things too?

Hurray, I joined up with the Winnipeg Etsy Street Team- a group of local artists/crafters/etsians who band together for promoting, discussion, and networking the crafting circuit in winnipeg.
I'm excited to meet some fellow artisans!

Also on another note, I made an exciting tree drawing today, but it's not finished yet, so I'm not posting anything yet. Also I decided to glue felt onto paper yesterday, and I'm pretty happy with the results, I think I'll continue trying out some strange combinations. The tree seen above I finished yesterday. I wasn't totally sure about the felt, it felt a little out of place, but it's for keeps, so hopefully I used my best judgement.

Back Pain

I hurt my back this week. I was in pain like I'd never experienced before, immobilized, and very helpless. Thankfully only a few days later I am nearly back to normal, no longer need tylenol 3s, and the back pain is only manifesting itself in the form of this drawing (except for a few minor reminders if I sit for too long).

"What are you Waiting for?"

I like this guy, even though my family tells me he looks kind of creepy. But then I think a lot of my work ends up accidentally creepy. I bought some new inks, and I'm very excited to be putting them into practice. This is an ink and watercolour wash, but mainly the colour is ink. Then the ram figure and tree were drawn in inks and then glued on top. I'd like to write a story about the Ram figure, not sure what yet, but I'll be thinking about it.
