Don't Forget to Create
I have recently loosened the hold work has on me because I was offered a new position, and was able to reduce my hours from a full-time contract to a little less than full time. Not working full time is wonderful! Though at times I feel a little lazy. This drawing is a product of that time off, where in the back of my head if I'm slacking off I have this artist's conscience telling me that I should seize the time I have for art.
I put it up on etsy, I'm curious about how many hits it will get.

Illustration Friday-Adrift
A drawing submission for IllustrationFriday. The theme was adrift. I don't feel this is an incredibly creative take on the word, but I am happy with the pattern of waves, particularly in the foreground of the image.

Pyjama Dancing
Dancing in Pyjamas. This drawing makes me smile. If you look closely you might think it's a self-portrait. In some ways it is, though not directly autobiographical. It was drawn about a month and a half ago.

Heart Bath
I drew this about a month ago, or more than that perhaps. It was made with the theme Renewal in mind. The idea being that in order to be healthy you need a clean heart. Sometimes cleaning your heart out can be a really good thing-a clean slate, room to breath, and to grow. There is a worship song that goes, "Create in me a clean heart oh God, and renew a right spirit within me." Something to that effect was going through my mind when I started drawing this.
