My good friend Sam was sick a few weeks ago with a burst appendix. She was quite ill and had to have surgery to remove what was left of her appendix. Fortunately she is now doing fine and recovering well. For a while there she was quite sickly and in a lot of pain. This picture describes the doctors washing off her organs to keep infection away.
