I have recently loosened the hold work has on me because I was offered a new position, and was able to reduce my hours from a full-time contract to a little less than full time. Not working full time is wonderful! Though at times I feel a little lazy. This drawing is a product of that time off, where in the back of my head if I'm slacking off I have this artist's conscience telling me that I should seize the time I have for art.
I put it up on etsy, I'm curious about how many hits it will get.

Ink drawing done for the topic Propagate.
Taken from my macbook's thesaurus:
1 an easy plant to propagate breed, grow, cultivate.
2 these shrubs propagate easily reproduce, multiply, proliferate, increase, spread, self-seed, self-sow.
3 they propagated socialist ideas spread, disseminate, communicate, make known, promulgate, circulate, broadcast, publicize, proclaim, preach, promote; literary bruit abroad.

A drawing submission for IllustrationFriday. The theme was adrift. I don't feel this is an incredibly creative take on the word, but I am happy with the pattern of waves, particularly in the foreground of the image.

Dancing in Pyjamas. This drawing makes me smile. If you look closely you might think it's a self-portrait. In some ways it is, though not directly autobiographical. It was drawn about a month and a half ago.

I drew this about a month ago, or more than that perhaps. It was made with the theme Renewal in mind. The idea being that in order to be healthy you need a clean heart. Sometimes cleaning your heart out can be a really good thing-a clean slate, room to breath, and to grow. There is a worship song that goes, "Create in me a clean heart oh God, and renew a right spirit within me." Something to that effect was going through my mind when I started drawing this.
