Art shows and Sales

I have art included in each of the following art shows and sales. Come check them out, especially if you are in the market for an original piece of art.

Movember Art Auction
Hosted at Cre8ery and officially titled: "With Great Mustache come great Responsibility". This is a true silent auction style art show and sale with all proceeds going to Prostate Cancer Research. The exhibit is only up for three days and the auction finishing with a closing party on Friday night that goes until 10 pm. Wednesday and Thursday open from 12-6, and Friday 12-10. Cre8ery is located on the second floor of 125 Adelaide Street.

Winter Warmer at Aceart
Ace Art is hosting it's LAST EVER WINTER WARMER! The show runs from Dec 2nd until December 15th. All sales go to the artists. Opening reception is December 2nd from 7 until 11or 12 pm. Ace Art is located on the 2nd floor of 290 McDermot Ave. The gallery hours are Tuesday – Saturday, 12pm – 5pm.


Vineyard Craft Sale
Hosting it's third annual craft sale this event has trendy crafters of all kinds selling hand made goods including honey, art, hats, fibre items, and baked goods. It is my third year participating in the event and it is always well attended and the hosts do everything they can to make sure that this event is a success that has people wanting to come back. The event is a fundraiser for the Arts programming at Winnipeg Centre Vineyard Church and also a women's co-op in Nepal. I have some new silk-screened items going in this sale and I will be selling photographs, cards, and prints of my work. Coming Events!

There are a few events I'm involved in coming up close on the horizon:

Ace Art's annual Winter warmer will be up and running from this Friday the 26th until December 13th. Opening party happens Friday at 8 until late. I submitted a couple of recent drawings. Aceart is located on the second floor of 290 McDermot Avenue.


Vineyard Christmas Craft Sale- Nov 27 from 10-4. All handmade items. It is in support of a Women's Co-op in Nepal. The co-op teaches and certifies women in valuable skills like sewing so that they have a means of supporting themselves. Last year's sale was a great success, and I have no doubt that this year's will be even better. St. Benedict's Table presents Beautiful Mercy and Other Works-an art show and music Launch happening December 2nd until the 4th. Opening reception happens December 2nd from 7:00-9:30pm. The Exhibition is open December 3rd from 12-7pm, and December 4th from 1-4pm. I am submitting two simple paintings that I did a few weeks back. I painted them when I was reading C.S. Lewis' Great Divorce, and they have an entirely different feel to them than anything else I've made in the last year. I haven't posted them on the blog yet. There is also an CD release for Mike Koop on the 3rd as a part of the exhibition. This event is happening at the Exchange Church located at 200-75 Albert Street, in Winnipeg. Ace Art's Winter Warmer

AceArt's annual winter warmer started today, and runs for the next two weeks until the 12th of December. Members were invited to submit works, so I entered two drawings in the show. I'm quite happy with both of them. I framed them in some decent frames that I found and I'm fairly pleased with how they turned out matted and framed. The winter warmer is usually a good show because it always has an assortment of items and for me I find it interesting seeing how other people price their work and which items sell. The opening was today, but I have been slowing down at posting because I recently moved and don't have my internet installed yet(But soon! Dec 1st the installation guy is coming).
